Who sponsored this debate? The article says “local Democratic clubs.” Would it have been too much trouble for them to send notices to the major blogs?
And did these clubs preserve any audio, or will the candidate’s statements just slide down the Delaware memory hole?
I hate having to rely on the News Journal for Delaware’s political memory.
For example, just go try to find the 2006 Candidate Q&As, which for many of the local candidates was the only recorded public statement of their positions. It disappeared from the News Journal site shortly after the election.
Carney’s sinking to a whine about Markell’s hurting the party by running for the office of governor was a low point that I didn’t expect.
He is toast.
