    The way this question is asked seems to indicate that the man is requesting his gift but is guessing at what the mom wants. If the man in question is who we think it is, he ought to just get in the habit of bringing her home anything in a robin’s egg blue box every few months.

    he’s just bitter that i’m NOT going to buy him a practical gift for father’s day (like a weedwacker).
