So my over/under for Obama’s electoral vote is 350. The stakes are $1.00…any takers.

h/t Mike and Dana for finding the site.

UPDATE:

The 50 state strategy is ON !!!

Today, I am proud to announce that our presidential campaign will be the first in a generation to deploy and maintain staff in every single state.

The network of volunteers and the infrastructure built up during the historic primary season — on behalf of all the Democratic campaigns — have given us an enormous and unprecedented opportunity in the general election.

We need to register new voters and bring people back into the political process. We need to reach out to Independents and Republicans who know that our country cannot afford another four years of George W. Bush’s disastrous policies.

That means McCain is going to have to pour money into Texas, Virginia and North Carolina. This is going to be a HUGE democratic year.

Simply

HUGE!

I wanted to play but as I clicked in, all my “bug” alerts went crazy.

Geek, Matthews, et al. you may want to scan your programming to see if you picked up any dormant little critters…..

    FYI

See what happens when you fantasize about your man, J? You get critters!

Holy crap, J! Those are some serious (blue-)rose colored glasses you wear for this!!! 400-135? You’re all giddy, aren’t you?

no critters here. But I cannot vouch for the linked sites.

I have my doubts about Texas falling our way, but I do think it could fall this way if there was a groundswell.

There is going to be a huge latino turnout in Texas.

McCain is losing to Obama 62-29 among Hispanics, which dwarfs the 53-44 loss among Hispanics that Bush suffered in 2004. If McCain loses Hispanics that badly Obama would easily win states like Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado, with large Hispanic populations.

Even Texas could become close, depending on how much effort Obama puts into registration and turnout efforts in the Hispanic community.

Monday eve: 8:00 on Cspan. Dennis Kucinch is laying out the Articles of Impeachment on the floor of the house as we speak. This truly makes my day, since I have had an ongoing emailing campaign to impeach Bush and Cheney. Kucinch is laying out one by one every article of the Constitution he has violated….I feel vindicated, by all those weak kneed who said “oh it will never happen”……well guess what its happening right before our eyes.

I think Obama and his 50 state strategy has the potential to change the map a bit, but I think Georgia and Mississippi have a better chance at flipping than North Dakota and Idaho. No matter what, if he can outraise McCain (he will) and force him to spend in these types of states, even if he loses those locals, it will make Ohio, Florida, etc. much easier.

I am with Smitty. I would say you have gone insane, but I know that you are just playing like John F. is on our side and trying to energize the base. I would be surpised if either candidate reached past 310 in the EC. I welcome Senator Obama spending money down a rat hole proverbaly speaking. Texas, LA, MS, ID, NC, ND, and IN will all end up in the Republican camp. I would bet a dollar on it. So will FL and now that Strickland is out, OH unless he picks Hill then it is up in the air.

BTW DC will go 90% for Obama. If the one poll done is holds Barr may top McCain there. You can move it from the unassigned column. On that I would bet $100 and I don’t gamble.

And I welcome McCain spending money down the rat hole. Money, I might point out, that he doesn’t have. Better open your check book, David.
