Why DID Mike Castle Vote For Impeachment & Why Is The Delaware Media Not Covering It?
It seems to me that Mike Castle (1 of 24 Republicans) voting for Kucinich Impeachment articles such as this one is significant…
In his conduct while President of the United States, George W. Bush, in violation of his constitutional oath to faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty under Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution “to take care that the laws be faithfully executed”, violated United States law by invading the sovereign country of Iraq in violation of the United Nations Charter to wit:
It suggests a major change in Castle’s position on the Iraq war.
Does it mean Castle regrets having chaired Georghe Bush’s campaing TWICE?
Does it mean that he is now trying to make amends for having supported Bush?
These are legitmiate news stories, so why the lack of curiosity in the Delaware MSM?
Ya know…you have to wonder if “it is on” and that’s not a knock on Allan. Have you heard some of the dead-air and conversely, the overlap of segments or commercials lately? This is my take, but when I hear that happen during Allan’s show on the drive home, I swear it sounds like he is quite annoyed.

I will admit that I am curious on this, too. I would like to sincerely know, though, why couldn’t this stick to Cheney back when, but it appears to stick to Bush? Don’t take that the wrong way, either. My point is, Darth Vader should be standing up to this just as well.
Mike can do almost anything and get re-elected considering the nature of his general election opponents. They always make him acceptable to a majority of the electorate.
Accept him as Representative for life….maybe even afterwards.

AL- at least Bill Roth did a lot of good. You cannopt even compare the two. It would be my hope that if Castle decides to change, he has an epiphany and says well yes Tom McKean was right, “we should not go looking for wars….otherwise, in the vein of Madion we’ll never stop having wars.” It would be a nice floor statement. Is that too much to ask?
My point is that Roth ran one time too many . But it took a well-funded, established candidate to beat him.

Bill Roth went against someone with a proven electoral history. As has been pointed out many times over, if Carkell or Marney had decided to seek the office, there could have been a clean sweep. That didn’t happen, so Castle is relatively safe, and Bill Lee has an outside chance (depending on how bruising the primary is).

Not only is there no mention of impeachment on wdel but the national media is silent also, can we once and forall lay to rest this liberal media myth and realize that ALL our media is controled by republican leaning corporations, who only try to fool you into thinking they are not. One thing about fox news at least they are openly bias. MSNBC & NBC where aquired by Jack Walsh when he was ceo of GE, and he is one of the biggest contributers to the republican party in the country and time warner is also far right leaning. Committee. This was not a vote on Kucinich’s articles of impeachment.

Here are all the votes on the motion to refer the bill to the House Judiciary Committee. Amazingly enough Castle did vote yes.
I did half a show on impeachment within the past week, Ray. Maybe you were busy working on your spelling.
Here’s a little more information you wont hear on all Delaware right wing radio stations! Kucinch and the Consitutional attorneys are working on the Next 35 articles of impeachment. Every election the “faithful bush enabler” runs to the left!
Would someone please inform McCastle that putting up “election signs” before 60 days of the election is a violation. I guess Castle has done the polls and realizes he will not win, cannot continue to bamboozle the moderates, (especially democrats) into voting for him. As the election goes forward, ALL of McCastles votes against the people should be made public.
WDEL and its one call per week is nothing but keeping the citizens from getting the information out to the citizens, (they refuse to talk about). Rick Jensen is the worst offender. I have been listening to WDEL for 8 years. I have listened to the rightest of right wing Jenson put out the worst lies, deceive the people, regarding Iraq and all our foreign policies.
When 80% of the people are against McBush, McMad and McCastle, you have to wonder why the management of WDEL would continue to let right wing Jenson, spew his right wing venom on the “public airwaves”, and havent hired someone more centered, more balanced. Its called “mock radio” people, not “talk radio”.

I have heard that impeachment procedings are against the breach of the constitution not against the office so it does not matter if the offender is still in office. The impeachment may go on against this administration’s leader even out of office.
