Breaking: DelawareLiberal Keeps Getting Better
Delaware Liberal is adding “Delaware Dem” from “Daily Delaware” as a regular contributor. Delaware Dem has built a huge readership on Daily Kos where his diaries are uniquely poignant and practical.
He is very linked into the national blog scene and will be going to Netroots Nation in mid-July where he will be sitting on panels with people like Chris Bowers of Open Left, Dante Atkins, Brian Keeler and Stephen Thibodeau.
With Delaware Dem’s addition, Delaware Liberal will be a part of the 50 State Blog network and will receive a national audience.
We’ll be changing our logo and a bit of layout to underscore this coupe.
Bottom Line: I’m psyched to welcome him to DelawareLiberal.
Welcome, Delaware Dem!
Thanks. All I need is the keys to the place and my nefarious takeover is complete. Mwuhahaha (evil Mr. Burns laugh).
….woops….Did I just say that out loud?
Seriously, it will be an honor to represent you fine folks at Netroots Nation and other conferences that I occassionally attend. I can tell them of this unique blogging community that has liberals, conservatives, libertarians, journalists and other media types all commenting on the same blogs with respect and civility.
Thanks for the welcome.
Awesome, DD! Fantastic to have you over here!
Uh-oh. Now I have to show some respect and civility. By the way, Jason, if you’ve scored a coupe, you have to give us all a ride.
Al,
You are respectful and civil compared to other places in the internets.
… I went back and forth on that word choice and still got it wrong.
Is it coup? Isn’t that what happens in foreign countries when leaders are overthrown?
Good Lord! This blogger orgy over here is starting to resemble the polygamist compounds.
Yes, I am jealous! You bastards!!!!!!!!
Congrats DelDem
Coup means ‘blow’, as in a strike.
But hey, we’re Americans…we define words as we see fit!
Good news, btw – and welcome to the circus!
vC I thought coup mean blow as in “job”–but never minds
as you say
Welcome to the circus–anything that increases the visibility of DE in any political sense is good
Hooray, hooray, hooray, hooray, hooray! Now I’ll do my happy dance. Tappity tappity tappity tap tap!
Ouch! That happy dance got totally out of control.
Benvenuto. You’ll curse the day you ever got twisted up with these cats! 🙂
Dorian, I think that is a fair warning to both sides! Ha!
bienvenidos! Senor Delaware Dem rock the house!
don’t know you don’t care to know you.
stay away from my action and my turf and we will be just fine.
pull any sneaky shit and I’ll be all over you like a spider monkey.
I can be bribed with beer if you want me to like you.
Until then, I’ll wait to see what you bring to the table.
LOL. I feel all warm inside. So, if I treat DHB to a night of drinking on me, I win him over?
3
DD, you have to periodically remind DHB that he is a pretender to the title of Delaware’s Hottest Blogger….
Nice.
I have the right to bare arms you know!
🙂
daaaaayyyyyyyuuumm we got DE DEM
Dem bones gonna rise again
I know’d it know’d it
Indeed I know’d it, brother
I know’d it WHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEE
Dem bones gonna rise again!
Damn, Nancy.
It is usually wise to stop drinking caffeine in the evening.
DD, what about wine?
Heh, I have been going non stop for a few days now, about four part-time jobs’ worth 16 hour days and sometimes that 6PM latte does more harm than good!
The quote above is the refrain from a camp song that I learned (age 10) from the counselors at the Country Center Day Camp. We’d sing it on a bus I’d catch this time of the year from Foulk Road in front of Brandywine HS on the way to Hockessin.
It fits the rise of the DEMs this year [even if the rest of the song is biblically-themed].
Oh, thank goodness you changed the look of the front page. I was running the risk of an eye-rolling sprain every time I visited and had to look at those Obama-staring-pensively pictures. Now I only have to suffer them in the comments section. 😉
God, Dominique, what are you going to do for the next eight years? And then when Obama’s likeness is added to Mt. Rushmore for all eternity?
Suffer not-so-silently, I suppose.
