    What June doesn’t realize is that no one reads these blogs for the bright and shiny roses and any such thing nearing academia. We read this shit FOR the nastiness and the wicked sense of humor generally used by the blog-owners and writers.

    What passes off as fact, enlightenment, and niceties is merely incidental.

    I just want to say that I am so freaking in love with Delaware liberal right now that I can’t think of a single thing i would change.

    If it made enough money to change the current line up of contributors into a highly paid satff of full-time bloggers…that would be nice.

    I wouldn’t change a thing content-wise, but could you reduce the size of the banner? I get some weird looks at work when people who know my political views look over my shoulder and see “Delaware Liberal” in huge type!

    The old black logo is still there in the links; I get it when I click the new logo and from the Home link.

    I don’t like the bold all-caps look but that’s just me, I guess I’ll get used to it.

    It is too big though. The articles start halfway down the page.

    Whether you make the logo smaller or not, maybe put the logo at the very top and put the nav links under it, or ditch the Dylan quote, or both.

    I would love for this site to move to an Ajax/Scoop Platform, but it is not practical for the community at this time, and also because some of you simply hate it.

    I designed the logos, and I love them. I am glad you all like the colors on the secondary logo on the comments page, for they are the actual Delaware state colors, believe it or not.

    They are called Colonial Blue and Buff.

    Nancy called it Puke and Gold once. I laughed at that.

    As for the logo being too big and loud, I suppose it depends on the resolution with which you are viewing the page, and also the type of browser you have. Also, if you notice, the WordPress platform is going to use the alotted space for the logo whether we put the logo there are not. In other words, it is not really possible to reduce the size of it.

    Besides, I like that it is loud and obnoxious. After years of being told we are unAmerican and evil by our friends to the right, we should be loud and obnoxious.

    To be able to e-mail the contributors directly if there is something to be said or asked but not meant for this world wide website….but I know…you guys already have everyone else’s numbers–so if you’re not in your out!!! It would be a nice attachment to a bio. or something. Heck..make your bio up..I don’t care. Does this stuff go to prisons? Otherwise..GREAT SITE…I love the font size…a little loose w/ the obscenities….perhaps a Thesaurus link???

    Yeah, that is in development. We all have different levels of comfort with being public, but we should have something. Also, Joanne, if you have a hot tip, you can always click on the “Got a Tip?”link at the top and send us the juicy tidbit. We have already gotten a number of hot ones there.

    DE DEM is correct about the size. Being a no-techie gal, my browser sort of does what it wants. I get on other people’s lap tops and the thing looks very reasonably proportional whereas on my pc, it looms while being half-hidden from view.
