    Who is really addressing polution?

    “2nd Longest Walk”, native americans left San Francisco in Feb, arrived yesterday in DC to present 1.5 millions petitions gathered in their walk across the nation”. They walk to address Global Warming. and its affects on all people. “Save Mother Earth”
    ” their theme address ‘s uranium mining pollution, to filthy drinking water.

    They call for protection of sacred sites and burial grounds, and an end to corporations and gaming corporate influence on indigenous people.

    Friday they will present their “solutions” to Congress, who will be present to accept them.

    First Long Walk, (30 years ago Congress wouldn’t even meet with them). Great interview with Dennis Means on Democracy Now tonight.

    Thinking the natives who are the true protectors will have many solutions to many of our pollution and environmental problems.

    Just thought I’d share….

    Funny, the US never agreed to Kyoto but guess what ?T he one country that got the better results amoung industrial nations was the US.
