  1. What — no “rot in hell” wishes? No disgusting comments?

Everyone must be on vacation … despite the economy being so “awful.”

  2. Al Mascitti

He was a journalist long before he entered government, and people in the biz have nothing bad to say about him — which, in that business, is fairly amazing. In short, he was a good guy, no matter what his political stances. I had been rooting and praying for him, but those who knew about cancer had told me from the moment another tumor was discovered that his chances of long-term survival were slim.

Nice strawman argument there. My condolences to his family and friends. Even though he was an apologist for the corrupt Bush administration he seemed like a likable guy, way too young to die.

Yes Al, I believe his recurrence was in his liver which I have heard is very difficult to treat. I think he had colon cancer.

  5. I always felt sorry that he had been sucked in by BushCo.

Note also, that one of the 20th century giants in medicine Dr. Michael DeBakey died today. Dr. DeBakey was one of those who created MASH units in WWII and developed the coronary bypass procedure.
