Some prefer to deer hunt with bows rather than guns, that’s all.

  5. you are comedy gold. I’m surprised you were 4th to comment. getting slow little guy?

  6. RSmitty says:

I’m wondering how many people are picking up on the choice of words in this ad that even DT(H)B/DV pointed out: …ETHNICAL ARCHER…

Don’t worry, D, I’m here to catch your comedy.

FWIW, there has been a long debate among the most die-hard of game hunters over which is more ETHICAL (not ethNical): bow-hunting and fire-arms. This person pointing out his choice weaponry based on that isn’t really all that surprising.

  9. G Rex says:

A buddy of mine used to bowhunt because the season is longer than the rifle season, but after he only wounded a deer and had to track it for 3 hours before finally locating the carcass, he switched to muzzle loaders.

It’s probably a native american, after all you europeans and others, have taken all the “happy hunting grounds”.

  11. Disbelief says:

If he’s a native american, that would explain the “ethnical” modifier.

  12. Art Downs says:

I am not a hunter and a person who has rescued a number of creatures. This is a matter of taste and I am a devout carnivore. I prefer to put holes in inanimate targets or shatter clay than to perforate the skin of an animal.

I am no puritan and champion the cause of those who choose to hunt and will welcome some venison.

There are regulations that assure that the ammunition used for hunting is far more lethal than that used for miltary purposes. One does not want a deer suffering for days with an arrow in its side. Ammuntion mandated for hunting is forbidden for military use and for reasons that are more than humanitarian.

Does ‘ethical’ mean my way or the highway? Perhaps that explains the ‘E’ in PETA.
