Will the real maverick please rise

Filed in National by on August 5, 2008

It doesn’t count if you have to remind people of what you supposedly represent.

The original maverick? Seems to me McCain is losing his brand. The ad is pathetic and *sigh* desperate. And not the least bit mavericky.

And notice how there is no details as to where and when and how much money they are spending on it.
Something tells me this one is as much about reminding the journalists about the “maverick” brand as it is about telling people about it (coz, God forbid, they make a case FOR McCain).

McCain has been losing journalists, but they are still grading his work on a curve (as Josh Marshall notes). Obama’s people need to release the Are We Better Off clip as its own commercial.

Yes keep pounding away with that theme. Like I stated early today McSame during the last weeks of June and into July when asked a question on any subject gave the same answer “THE SURGE” from mid July to the present again when asked a question even one on Iraq his answer was “DRILL OFF SHORE”. This tactic seemed to work as he has maintained his standing in the polls. I just want the Dem’s to start pounding a message home.

I though Obamamama was the only candidate???

I couldn’t find any teabagged media coverage of anyone else running.

    Isn’t the election a formality?

I thought he already won against Bill Clinton and Jesse Jackson.
