Copeland said some bloggers asserted that Sen. Harris McDowell, who chaired the committee, was trying to undermine the agreement.
“I think that [Denn] reads too many blogs,” Copeland said.
He said his desire to explore all avenues of renewable energy is indicative of his comment that all options should remain on the table.
He called the accusations by Denn a “negative tact” and “demonstratively wrong and easily proven.”
“I wish [Denn] would get his facts straight,” Copeland said. “I was in favor of the Bluewater Wind vote on the floor of the Senate, so I wish he would start from ground zero and get things right.”
