  1. Chris says:

He doesn’t need one. No doubts where his loyalty lies.

  2. anonone says:

Sure. No doubt. Just ask his first wife where his loyalties lie. Then ask the lobbyists running his campaign. And then ask Dobson and all the right wing theocrats. Like all rethugs, McSame’s loyalties are clearly not with Americans and the Constitution.

  3. Chris says:

“Just ask his first wife where his loyalties lie.”

And yet she sports a “McCain for President” sticker on her SUV.

“Like all rethugs, McSame’s loyalties are clearly not with Americans and the Constitution.”

Have been so far…no reason why that would change.

He may not be the best person in the country to be President, but out of the two of the candidates left standing, it isn’t even close. Obama can’t hold a match to him, let alone a candle. And over the next two months. Americans that don’t already see it, will.

  4. Susan Regis Collins says:

FINALLY McCain shows he is a true American by NOTwearing a flag pin!!!!

A ‘flag pin’ is an improper use of Old Glory…any Girl/Boy Scout who studied the flag knows that.

Those frickin’ flag pins are probably made in China….another reason to NEVER be seen w/one on your lapel. Damn why are we always acting like a bunch of bumpkins????? The Chinese are laughing all the way to the bank.
Flag pins should be declared illegal!

  5. Don’t worry. Being a POW cancels out the lack of lapel pin. Go about your business. Nothing to see here.

Endless war. Torture. Thousands of dead Americans. Imprisonment without charges or legal counsel. Spying without warrants. Destroyed moral authority. Censorship and oppression of free speech. Failure to defend the country on 9/11. Broken military. Voter suppression and stolen elections. That is what ALL repubs stand for – including McSame. You, Chris, and your fascist theocratic repubs have destroyed the very essence of that which once made America great. Did you see how they all cheered every time 9/11 was mentioned? I guess you were cheering, too.

  7. Von Cracker says:

    game over.

  8. Joe C says:

A lapel pin would only distract from the images of the bombed out Fed building in Oklahoma and the collapsed towers in NY.

    But he eats apple pie!

  10. Truth Teller says:

Not a Hero but a Victim of Family connections. they placed an unqualified guy in a fighter jet he couldn’t fly and got his ass shot down and surrendered to the enemy.

  11. Joe C says:

John “Crash” McCain. The guy lost five planes in his career. Even in 1960’s dollars, that’s a lot of cabbage. Any other pilot would have been oh so grounded but the connections Truth Teller mentions kept his happy ass in the air (whenever he didn’t crash again)

  12. delawaredem says:

Heros do not claim to be heros. They do not pronounce it at every occasion. True heros are humble. True heros deflect attention away from themselves.

If you claim to be a hero, then you are a fool.

  14. cassandra m says:

John McCain’s Flag Pin is still a POW.

  15. Joe C says:

My post #11 is factually untrue. The following is from factcheck.org:
“McCain did lose two Navy aircraft while piloting them, both due to engine failure. A third was destroyed on the deck of the carrier USS Forrestal when hit by a missile fired accidentally from another plane, triggering a disastrous fire that killed 134 sailors and nearly killed McCain. A fourth plane was lost when he was shot down over North Vietnam on a bombing mission over Hanoi. There’s no evidence that any of the four destroyed planes were lost to pilot error.
A fifth alleged “crash” turns out to be a misinterpretation of a biographer’s description of a flight accident that did not result in the loss of the aircraft. ”
I do, however, maintain his paternal connections made his career. I apologize for my error.
