Deep Thought
Who could have predicted that getting stuck in an unwinnable, expensive occupation half a world away- putting oil companies in charge of our energy policiy and allowing banks and bond traders to “self-regulate” would have resulted in economic calamity?

I feel blindsided quite honestly. I never saw this coming. I figured Bush had ruined two companies already. How could he possibly do it a third time?
Anyone with a little common sense could have seen this coming a few yaers ago.

Isn’t that usually the way to re-energize an economy?
Oh, wait. We don’t manufacture in this country, we outsource. Back to the drawing board.
“How about in the future we don’t send the troops for more than 3o days unless we have a declaration of war, a draft, and new taxes.”
Good luck with that, seeing as we’ve engaged in many military conflicts under D and R administrations and haven’t formally declared war since WWII.
