Hugo Chavez celebrates ‘comrade’ George W Bush’s conversion to socialism following financial crisis
Socialist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez mocked George W. Bush as a “comrade” saying the US president was a left-winger for his lifeline to major banks.

Chavez, who describes capitalism as evil, ridiculed Mr Bush for his plan to buy stocks in American banks despite his widespread criticism of Venezuelan nationalisations.
“Bush is to the left of me now,” Mr Chavez told an audience at a debate on the benefits of socialism. “Comrade Bush announced he will buy shares in private banks.”
This is friggin’ hilarious. Love it. You can’t ever say Hugo doesn’t have a sense of humor!

Could one also say you suck if Chavez endorses you for president?
Um, yeah. Buying shares in a bank with public money isn’t quite the same as rounding up the board of directors and shooting them. Or shipping the CEO off to Siberia and giving the company to one of your buddies, if you’re a Putin fan.
Still sucks.

The only problem with Bush’s stance on the banks is that if we are going to take over something why not take over EXXON after all they make a profit.
