I have a funny story about this to boot.

Brandywine High School had an election and apparently there is a sign on Shipley Road that says “Castle Supports Mccain”

Many of the students voted against Castle due to his allegiance to Castle. Seems like a simple message connecting Castle to McCain works…

No way! Like, if he broke his allegiance, to like, himself, he would like, be so cool!

Dude, you swung that door so far open, I couldn’t resist.

So, DV, are you running for RD6 or what?

  3. RSmitty says:

J – you are looking for any glimmer, aren’t you?

BTW, can you respond to Geek’s email, so I know our plans for Wednesday are set?

If I need $40k I doubt it. But I am still going to throw my name in the hat and see what happens.

    DV,

I think that $40K is too high. I worked the money for Bill Dunn and I think he needed about $10-15K for a countywide race. Yes, it would be nice to run a campaign on $40K but you can run it for less, I would estimate about $20K (which is still a heckuva lot of money).

Karen HartleyNagle is within striking distance of Castle. Hold onto your hats. Karen’s debate with Castle woke up a lot of people. Castle is working it hard showing up in places he has never been against any other candidate. Looks like Norman Oliver and the ministers pushing their “flocks” to vote against her and split their ticket is NOT working. People now realize that Castle’s support for big business, his lack of support for unions over the years may finally come home to roost. And lets not forget, Karen ran a very frugal campaign against him while he spent millions of that Wall Street banker protection money. I think this is going to be a squeaker…but Karen will win.

You don’t need $20K for a special election. It’s quick and small. Turn out is low so you are only concentrating on the primary voters, small audience. What you need more than anything are boots on the ground. Ya gotta canvass fast and hard. Pray for a mild January.

This is the coolest. I am glad to give my vote to KHN.
