Untold Suffering is What They Deserve

Well today, even after Barack Obama’s grandmother died, mind you, we learn that the California Republican Party has filed a complaint against Barack Obama and his campaign, alleging that Obama violated federal law by converting its campaign funds to Senator Obama’s personal use.  The “personal use” in this instance is using the campaign plane to fly to Hawaii to visit his gravely ill grandmother for one last time before she died.

They have no decency.  If the roles were reversed, well, I can’t think of one Democrat who would make this charge, honestly, but let’s say that a Democrat criticized McCain for traveling on his campaign plane back to Arizona to see his 96 year old mother for the last time before she died.   The Republican noise machine would go ballistic.   That Democrats would be lambasted with charges of immorals and lacking in family values.  And I think, for once in its miserable existence, the Republican noise machine would be right.  My God, we are talking about visiting a dying grandmother.  For the last time.   For only a few hours.    A trip made necessary by the belief that her death was imminent and that this would be the last time Obama could see her.   A belief that was proven horribly correct today.

I often get criticized here by our Republican friends here in the Delaware blogosphere for being far too general in my condemnation of all Republicans for the crimes of a few.   For saying that I hate Republicans and the Republican Party.   Well, criticize away.    The hatred is deserved, especially on days like today.  To file a complaint concerning Obama’s last trip to see his dying grandmother on the day his grandmother died is inhuman.  To criticize the man for wanting to say goodbye to the woman who helped raised him is evil.   And I hate things that are evil.

They’re just mad cause now the birth certificate records are sealed..can’t blame em for trying. Besides wasn’t there a campaign promise in there that Obama broke about public financing to begin with?

And they steal campaign signs from perfectly nice ladies of a certain age. I kept putting them back up so they finally just stole the posts. It’s the night before the election and a quarter of my signs are gone. Of course, I had the unmitigated nerve to dare to run out here in Republican land, to try to give the district a little democracy. Sorry to sputter but I’m just disgusted with Republicans.

Still, compared to what the CA Republicans just pulled, this is very small change.

I can’t wait until the election is over. Perhaps the bullies and assholes will decide to give it a rest.

They should. According to the polls, they’re likely to win the election.
