The 330 in jason330 is like the 33 on the Rolling Rock bottle.

  2. LOL….right now they are talking about having the GOP become EVEN MORE SOCIALLY CONSERVATIVE.

    Please God, Republicans. Do that.

  3. Dave Anderson would put Richard Simmons into a coma. I need his number. For whenever I can’t sleep, I will call him.

  4. This is good radio.

Donviti said KHN came out of a three way. Maria says she loves Dick.

The phone won’t answer, so here’s a boring topic to explore (though not as boring as re-hashing Protack et al): State Treasurer.

It would be nice to get behind a candidate early in order to avoid the perennial office-seekers from wasting more time.

  6. Jason and Geek…

Say this on the air: That was the biggest mistake the GOP made: they made this election a referendum on socialism.

    And socialism won.

  7. Just woke up guys. Sorry I couldn’t make it down to hang out. I may go back to sleep…

Palin is even more trouble than a pitbull.

LOL. McCain wanted her to guard his right flank, but instead she snarled at all the neighborhood kids and shit on the rug.

    Question for Liberalgeek

The Crow Pie is just about ready to come out of the oven.

Not sure, Red wine or White wine?

Yo Dave Burris — I did so map out those votes!

And I want credit for Copeland losing SO DECISIVELY.

  11. FSP

There’s only two people who get credit for the election results in Delaware: The President of the United States, past and future.

Shorter Maria: I just wanted to kill Iraqis like Palin kills wolves.

  13. anonone

Shorter Maria: I’ll stay a repub because I’m too dumb to see that they are against what I think I am for.

  14. anonone

Uh, what repub is left standing to primary Castle?

    More repub nuttery.

    (This should be live blogged.)

Liberalgeek ,Copeland had a bottle 1787 Chateau Lafite sent over and thanked my for my efforts. I’ll guess I’ll save it for another day!

Copeland had a bottle 1787 Chateau Lafite sent over

They’ve got tons of that in the dungeons of Granogue. But why didn’t they send over the good stuff?

“Obviously Bill told Hillary to vote for it.”

In Maria’s obedience to husband world.

  20. Liz

Maria: ask the “progressives” what happened in the Castle race? Why did the party not support the candidate the voters supported in the primary? And, isn’t it true the party did a deal with Castle to let him win yet again, waiting for another millionaire Chris Coons to run in 2 years. Tryng to call him…but the phone keeps ringing…

  21. anonone

The UN had it right, that is why Bush wouldn’t let them vote after he promised he would because he knew the resolution would lose.

  22. cassandra m

Iraq was not a decision about a threat — it was a decision about politics. The Dems were desperate to get past the war talk to get to mid-term elections.

Hillary calling Bill would have been more for politics — Graham in FL who was in charge of the Intelligence committee voted against the AUMF and he would have had better data than others.

  23. Smitty is on a roll! C’mon Smitty take back your party!

  31. Huh? Dave Burris has a NEW Blog? DaveBurris.com.

Announced at Delaware politics. What does this mean?

“Huh? Dave Burris has a NEW Blog? DaveBurris.com.

Um, that the mean IQ of posters on that blog has just dropped significantly. Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster for RSmitty, otherwise they’d be totally fucked.

  33. Bill Dunn

Before you guys go off the air.

Who takes Joe’s seat for two years????

  34. anonone

Williams was another door-to-door candidate. Bob V. never showed up.

  35. I think you’re right, Johnny X. I was attempting to leave them some wiggle room! 🙂

  36. JohnnyX

Actually that was a bit unfair – Dave Anderson seems like a relatively smart dude. Misguided perhaps, but still smart.

But there is an inverse relationship between the number of Frank Knotts posts and the relative intelligence level of that blog for sure.

When he was drunk he was a repub – when he sobered up he became a dem.

  40. Liz

The question hasnt been addressed…the elephant in the room is why the Democrat Party didnt support the candidate the voters in the primary voted for? If you won’t be honest and admit that Tom Carper, John Daniello and Paoli worked hard against her, then you are not admitting the truth. Just as the party spent thousands of primary money pushing the party candidate John Carney, they gave not a penny to the congressional candidate. Even though Karen Hartley Nagles’ numbers were higher than Dennis Spivak who had $350,000 and hadthe parties support…Karen did better than Spivak. This has to do with “party picking and choosing their candidates regardless of what the voters want. Its dispicable and should be addressed by the party insiders. I hear from many women in the party and those elected this party is nothing more than a “good ole white boy party” who refuses to support good women candidates that, is astounding. A deal was done from the higest levels of the democrat party to make the “No Banker Left Behind” Castle with his millions of dollars to spend against Karen who ran a frugal campaign, ran the race of his life. A little help from the party loyals would have put her over the top.

What this all says he one millionaire must replace another millionare, to hell with the peoples choices.

as in Karen loves Dick or as in Maria loves her some dick?

    …I blame Liz (I kid, I kid!)

    just wondering…

  42. Nancy Willing

The Treasurers post REALLY has me wondering. Who has an inside take?
What promises need kept that this will satisfy? Which DEM who lost will take it?

    PATHETIC LOSER!

yeah, the Burris fallback to his horrible low-ball tacitcs is the whine ‘ na my fault, man’.

Delaware hates your negative campaigning, Burris. When Brian Shields uncovered that the anti-Markell domain and the anti-Weldin Stewart domain were created by DE GOP it tipped the scales and down you tumbled:

“For laughs I pulled up the WhoIs information on TheRealJackMarkell.com, a website that is known to be a Delaware GOP smear site, paid for by Bill Lee’s campaign. What is interesting is that they are also registered by Domains By Proxy… both sites were registered on the same date, both from GoDaddy, a company that specializes in cheap domain registrations.

In my opinion, they both are connected.”

  44. Miscreant

“… tell them that we do not consider Atkins a Democrat. He is a drunk.”

Now he’s a drunken Democrat. It’s your turn to watch him.

  45. LOL. Alright, Miscreant, I will watch him Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and you get Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays

  46. Geezer

“Even though Karen Hartley Nagles’ numbers were higher than Dennis Spivak who had $350,000 and hadthe parties support…Karen did better than Spivak.”

No, actually, she didn’t. Once you account for the higher turnout, she did worse — she got the same percentage in a two-way race that Spivak got in a three-way race. And Castle didn’t even have to use the abundant negatives in her personal history.

And let’s turn your question around: Why should the party spend money on a candidate who can’t raise any herself? Dennis Spivak spent his own life savings running. What did KHN spend?

She’s a joke, and so are you. Stick a fork in yourselves. You are done.

  47. Delaware hates your negative campaigning, Burris. When Brian Shields uncovered that the anti-Markell domain and the anti-Weldin Stewart domain were created by DE GOP it tipped the scales and down you tumbled…

Nancy, I can guarantee you that Dave was NOT involved with the workings of the General Election races this year. Not even a little bit.

  48. Holy crap, I had some serious fun on the show today. Jason’s hand, rubbing my thigh when I was rampaging about the constipation of the “we aren’t enough to the (partisan) right yet” crowd was a bit uncomfortable, but aside from that, it was great to be a part of it.

Thanks to jason, Geek, and Maria for coming together on this and thanks to all who called or commented as well!
