We don’t subscribe to HBO, so no, I don’t watch it.

No TV in my house, so I had to even look it up on teh google to even know what it was…..

  3. nemski says:

Why are you addicted? Never heard of it.

  4. pandora says:

You’re welcome over my place anytime, Cass. We can do an On Demand TRUEBLOOD marathon. It’s a great mix of scary and campy with a strong dose of social issues (vampire civil rights!). Right up my alley!

  5. pandora says:

You can read about it here
    http://www.hbo.com/trueblood/

Go to the bottom of the page and click on “About.”

True Blood is a sick, evil, disgusting show that shouldnt be on TV…how many young children are watching that awful crap! Its frightening.

  7. liberalgeek says:

If Liz hates it, I’m in!

  8. pandora says:

Liz, it’s NOT a childrens’ show. Just like Rome wasn’t for kids. Didn’t mean Rome wasn’t excellent. There are parental blocks, you know.

And “evil”? Are you effing kidding me?

  9. Jab says:

Wow… Evil? really? I think of evil and I think torture, lies, discrimination, corruption, bigotry, persecution. The last thing that comes to mind is an hour long tv show about mythical creatures fighting for equal rights. Thanks for the enlightenment, I might have been inadvertantly sucked in by the antichrist that is HBO. Guess I’ll stick to Spongebob reruns.

Agreed with lg on this one. I’m off to mininova to download some episodes today.

It’s based on a series of books.

I love it the series. Kind of like Vlad the Impaler invades The Trailer Park. Notice the “God hates fangs” sign in the intro?

  13. pandora says:

I did notice the sign. Too clever. The reason we subscribe to HBO is because of their series. Rome, Sex in the City, Soprano’s, Entourage, John Adams, Bill Maher, Big Love, etc. All excellent television.
