    Feed the id.
Play into the worst in people.

Simple enough; it’s been done for millennia.

  2. pandora says:

    Because they keep repeating it.

“America is center-right” is the new talking point.
“Obama doesn’t have a mandate” is the next.
And my new personal favorite: “How is Obama going to pay for his plans without adding to our Nation’s debt?”

Hmmm… suddenly fiscal conservatism is all the rage. I’m sorry, but where were ‘paying as you go’ and ‘fiscal responsibility’ during the last 8 years? Talk about new rules. It’s very hard to take this group seriously. Hypocrites.

Hey, DV you think you are good-looking and cool — both of which are leaps from reality. Maybe you can answer your own question. 😉

  4. h. says:

Look at who they are fooling.

  5. cassandra_m says:

They also capitalize on the press’ “objectivity” — reporting he say/she say without providing any context or fact checking allows Teh Stupid to get repeated ad nauseum. So the relativism of “having their own facts” survives.

  6. Unstable Isotope says:

I would add that there are people who want what Republicans say to be true, so they discard evidence to the contrary (because it comes from the “liberal” media).

the jerk store called and they are running out of you

  8. nemski says:

What’s the difference? You’re their all-time best seller.

  9. Dana says:

That’s simple: we use the Obama campaign as our evidence. Case closed.

  10. nemski says:

Bwa ha ha ha ha, that’s a good one Dana.
