Speedbump For Hillary as Sec. of State

One of my friends mentioned to me that there is a little bit of a Constitutional controversy swirling around Hillary.  There is a pesky little part of the Constitution that basically says that because Hillary has not completed her Senate term and the salary of Secretary of State was raised during her current term, she is ineligible to serve in that role (actually any role in the Cabinet).

There have been previous instances like this, and there are work-arounds, but I personally would say that they are cheats.  Why is it that nothing is ever easy with a Clinton?

If I were you, Pandora, I’d blame your parents for this even being an issue FIRST — a good offense and all that.

That’s how it is in Delaware. No one who is in the State Senate now is free to hold a cabinet position that was voted on for salary increase while he/she was in the Senate.

My question is why are Cabinet secretaries getting raises at all?

Knock off this bullshit nothing to stop this Nixon took care of this

  7. Hillary Clinton is a millionaire several times over; all that she has to do is state that she will accept only the previous salary, and the path is cleared for her.
