   For what it’s worth (this is as good a thread as any), the layoffs have apparently begun at the News Journal’s parent company. So stay tuned to see if your favorite or least-favorite writers and editors are going to go on the chopping block. Visit gannettblog.blogspot.com. (Because you know the NJ isn’t going to write about it.)

   So lets hope all of you who watched that show, will show up Wednesday night at City Hall at 5:00 to try to save 28! This is another attempt by the corporate media to shut down, and shut out any voices contrary to the corporate elite and their talking points. If you believe in “citizen media”, then show up and stand up with us.
