Nominations Being Accepted: Comment of the Year
You know it and so do I, blogging would be pretty damn boring, were it not for commenters. Hardly a day goes by when I don’t laugh out loud at a comment here on DL. So this will be an opportunity to give some credit to a commenter here in Delaware for their keen insight, their razor-sharp wit or their ability to construct a haiku from the issues at stake in the Insurance Comissioners race.
Please provide a link to the relavant comment.
Anything by Nancy Willing. Every comment is read with a “OMG” mental note. Can’t figure out how she keeps up the pace.
Comment posted in response to the Fixx playing in Middletown….”One thing leads to obscurity”
Any comment by El Somnambulo.
I know it’s recent, but I’ve gotta go with this DelDem gem:
“Hell, if every sperm is sacred, then my bed is the location of a holocaust of unfathomable proportions.”
It’s #11 at:

I’m giving it to Jason for calling the resident former troll Mike w. Murderboy. I have never laughed so hard in my life when I read that
“Comment posted in response to the Fixx playing in Middletown….”One thing leads to obscurity””
Hey wowsers, that was me! Awww, shucks.

“Drinks? That’s the magic word! But… please, not Bullseye.”
Nothing personal Pandora this comment cracked me up and I had to nominate you! I thought liberals were for the working guy, pro union but yet dare they step into an average Joe’s watering hole, one owned by the Lt. Governor’s brother!
Does this mean the extreme left has met the extreme right on the backside of the spectrum?
I love the 8/20 post when jason asks “what song was #1 when you were born?”…
Stella doesn’t answer, but reports she’s a bit older, and Joe M. then questioned if the song was Greensleaves….I still laugh over that….and tell the story….again, even my kids thought it was funny, and I have a tough house to work.
