Over at Own the Sidewalk, Maia is very concerned that her dog, the dog of a passionate liberal blogger, may . . . . gasp . . . . be Republican!
I have long harbored the suspicion that my dog may be a Republican. Consider the evidence:
- She is unfailingly loyal, even when I fail to represent her interests or live up to her expectations.
- She does not do well with change.
- She prioritizes domestic security above all other issues, often at the cost of her own comfort and convenience.
- She is suspicious of handouts.
