- Lewis Schiliro, an AIG executive, for Director of Department of Safety and Homeland Security
- Carl Danberg stays at Department of Corrections
- Major General Frank Vavala stays as head of the Delaware National Guard
Thoughts on these? Hope that some of you can weigh in on what you know about Schilliro, that name is certainly new to me.

Retired FBI out of New York. After Sec. Mitchell I thought he would pick someone from in state to run the DSP
I think knowing that you are coming in, from being an AIG Exec, has a terrible taint to it as does being appointed by Gov Blago!!!
The trend has been keep some old hats and get a few new ones, not bad considering the sorry state Delaware is in and things will get much worse. Gov Minner is leaving quite a few problems for the new guys to harvest.
These Cabinet people have to understand they will be at the helm during some pretty large cuts and it will not be rosy. How they handle these issues will define the resurgence or final burial of the Delaware GOP.
I appologize about missing the posts the last few days. I understand RSmitty was asking serious questions to me but I was flying and also wrapped up in a family medical problem.

Gee Carl Danberg has done such a ‘wonderful’ job, he deserves to keep HIS job. Thats one I thought would go in a New York minute. This is not good!
Carl is a fine man and has done a good job considering the worst of the worst population he inheirited(sp).
And besides, who else would want the job? Carl is a class act. It’s tough not being able to live up to Liz’s high standards.

My guess is that Stephanie (McClellan) will be Jack’s overall policy director.
