Wanna know how I know the Eagles will lose?

Cinchy.

Both Donovan and Andy will be happy with the season if they play well and lose. They figure that have proven the nay sayers wrong last week.

  1. Will you stop being a Republican, please.

  2. Ugh…the fucking post headline again!!! What am I going to do with you, Jason?

  3. The counter argument from Eschaton:

Poor Kurt Warner is going to regret ever leaving the Iowa Barnstormers.

  4. Off topic: Is anyone going to Markell’s “Celebration of the Arts” tonight at the Grand? I’m thinking about it, but parking will likely be a bitch.

  5. No heart chump will not come back from 11 points down.

    Mark my words.

  6. this is not on mcnabb . . . . this is on the defense

  7. Okay …I’ll just ignore the fact that McNabb missed three open guys.

    OK, I’m watching now.

Except the Eagles winning a Super Bowl.

    Jason was right!

    As usual.

Eagles = George Bush + Pretzel

I learned something. Apparently Jesus was rooting for the Cardinals. I figured he would be pretty busy with the Gaza/Israel thing but I guess Kurt Warner is the center of the world.

“Jesus was rooting for the Cardinals” you must be right, what a game , what an ending……

Once again, the Eagles are the Lucy to my Charlie Brown. Oh well. On the prediction thread, I’m still in. Way in.

  15. It will never happen, but the Eagles simply have to get rid of Reid and McNabb and start fresh.

Otherwise the stranglehold on mediocrity will continue.

Eagles lose a squeaker to the Cards. Officiating will be awful, giving Eagles fans something to gripe about, but Donovan will be unable to escpape the emotional funk and the day will end in defeat. Cards go on to be crushed by Steelers in a lopsided SuperBowl.

    Impressive.

Eagles wipe the floor with the Giants, becoming “the inevitable NFC Superbowl representative”. Then the Eagles get spanked, embarrassed laughed off the field when the Arizona Cardinals beat them in the Championship game.

Since the contest was to predict how the Eagles season would end – this sill have to be reviewed by the league.

Jim Johnson should be the head coach.

After his piss poor defensive scheming in the first half of this game that let Larry Fitzgerald pretty much rape the Eagles in the face and put the game virtually out of reach? Please tell me you’re being sarcastic…

Except that No Heart Chump did come back from 11 points down, to give the Eagles the lead, 25-24. It was the defense which let the Cardinals march down the field to reclaim the lead.

Look, I’m no Eagles fan, and wanted to see the Cardinals win. (I’m an Oakland Raiders fan, but my team has sucked since 2002.) But how many teams have reached the playoffs as many times recently as have the Eagles? Not many!

I am not going to judge on just one game. Fitzgerald is a great player.

Johnson is the reason that they get to the playoffs, not McNabb/Reid. He consistently has one of the top defenses in the league. He deserves a shot.

  22. john.feroce

Reid is pathetic, he’s down 24 -19 and goes foe an extra point instead of 2! That alone changes the dynamic of the remainder of the game. Jon Gruden is now available and I’m sure would be interested given the fact he use to be the Eagles Offensive Coordinator under Ray Rhodes.

At QB, Matt Cassel is worth the money. The Pats will most likely franchise him on Feb 5th (so he’ll be expensive) but he’s only 25, so give up the money and picks.

  23. So Dana supports the Oakland Raiders and the Republican Party.

    Yes, it makes sense.

    Both are lost causes.

  24. There will be no coaching change unless Andy himself retires. There may be a QB change, but there is no way in hell we spend top dollar for Cassel. Your QB is Kevin Kolb.

  25. Susan Regis Collins

Go, Steelers, Go. Love, Your HomeGirl.

  26. Matt Cassels will be the biggest thing on the free agent market, but the team that picks him up will be wasting their money. He won’t go to a mediocre team and lead them to 11-5.
