I saw a box of gelatin dessert type mix that looked straight off of Let’s Make A Deal.

I was surprised by the amount of soap, toothpaste and other non-food there was.

You can not by any paper products nor personal items w/EBT…..so I’m sure toothpaste and soap are frequent requests.
As to dog food….many are turning their pets into shelters cause they can’t afford to keep/feed them. Getting dog food from the food bank is a much better option than the shelter.
