CNN is reporting that Sarah Palin will not be joining the Conservative Pathetic Acrimonious Complainers (CPAC) this year… The Alaska governor had been expected to serve as the headline attraction at the three day event.
Interesting.
This is where wingnuts go to start building their ground game. Looking down the road if Palin decides not to run it changes the chess board a bit for wingnuts and they might have to draft “Joe the Plumber.”
No, Sarah just has to be on the job. The legislative session is starting in Alaska. She has to be there to get the budget talks off. She is popular, but she can squander that if she appears to forget the job she was hired to perform.
The first step for her is to get reelected in 2010 not to speak to C-PAC. If they want her then let them move up the conference to the end of January next year.
