    I was wondering the same thing actually, though my 10 month old enjoyed playing with it for a few minutes. Seems to me in these days of a budget crunch we could use the money better elsewhere.

    Have you seen the TV commercials touting the same thing? Talk about expensive advertising.

    Both ‘spins’ are to divert the voters from looking at what is actually happening.

    Who’s going to pat himself on the back if he doesn’t? Perhaps he’s preparing to make some unpopular votes, so he wants to remind everyone what a good guy he is before that happens.

    True dat. On Philly-area TV, I’ve seen a commercial on his behalf and both Senators for each of PA and NJ. The commercial plainly states who is paying the ad, but I can’t remember who that is.
