1. (sometimes initial capital letter) a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism

    Some people are obviously having trouble with the concept. You ought to put up the definition of socialism (government controls the means of production) because a lot of Republicans are having trouble with that concept as well.

    IO thank you for putting up that definition of fascism — though you probably should have cited a source. Maybe now that we have this definition posted, by one of the liberal members of the editorial staff, we won’t see any more of the “Bush was fascist!” rants.

    You see – since nazi germany referred to themselves as socialist and socialism is the true goal of liberals, ergo all liberals are fascists.
