I Can’t Wait For Tonight’s Daily Show

Filed in National by on March 10, 2009

Taking on a comedian is never wise.  Taking on someone as quick and clever as Jon Stewart is beyond foolish.  Watch the clip.  And while I can’t predict what Stewart will do to Cramer and Scarborough I know it’s going to hurt – in a painfully hilarious sort of way.

(h/t TPM and a. price.  Thanks for the tip!)

LOL —- they’re going after a comedian. Props to Cramer for at least knowing that Stewart is first and foremost a comedian.

Joe, however, sounds like a whiny little bitch.

  2. pandora says:

Oh, this is going to be good!

I’m telling you, this group of whiners needs to shut up!

  3. Unstable Isotope says:

Do they think they can outsmart Stewart?

  4. cassandra_m says:

Wow. This is going to be good.

Cramer is trying to inoculate with the comedian stuff, but I don’t think that he underestimates Stewart or what Stewart’s project really is.

Joe, is a whiny bitch. This is another one who gets a pass for being “moderate” when he really isn’t. And nor is he all that interesting.

Please note that Joe Scarborough has a show on a cable TV network that Hube and many wingnuts considers a “liberal”

Our effing media is so effed up.

Over the years I`ve heard Cramer say buy this stock, they have busted their, buy this stock, they have stopped paying benefits, this one`s going up they outsoarced much of their workforse, and he always adds I shouldn`t say that trying to say he`s a friend to the common man.
Go get`m Jon, rip this capitilist pig a new ass?

Stewart’s comedy cuts so close to home (especially for Joe the whiny) because he successfully lampoons “experts” when they make predictions or state as fact, things which turn out to be wrong in huge measure. Cramer’s whole shtick is that he is giving expert financial advice. He was very wrong on the fiancial picks, and his timing was as bad as John McCain (remember him?) with the “fundamentals of the economy are strong”. He’s an easy target.

The only thing Jon Stewart claims to be good at is making people laugh. He succeeds week after week. The current President may be providing less fodder for his brand of comedy, but there is no lack of other “expert” dumbasses out there just waiting for their turn in the “Daily Show” spotlight.

I love it Joe. You are back from your 6 month insanity. It is comforting to see Joe back in the fold.

i want to see Mad Money and Cramer and Sick Rantilli, and Joe all die like Crossfire and Tucker. (yeah tucker got a new show, but he never really recovered from this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFQFB5YpDZE

U.I “Do they think they can outsmart Stewart?”

NO. They cant’t because it isn’t about outsmarting. If they try to fight, Jon will win. they harder they try to save face, or discredit a COMEDY SHOW the more they will look like morons… as for tonight’s show. I CANT WAIT

  10. Unstable Isotope says:

I don’t understand why CNBC and Cramer in particular want to bring more attention to what Stewart said. It’s only going to make everyone want to see the response that much more. You know that old saying “don’t bring a knife to a gun fight.”

    Jim and Joe are toast.
