    It’s Madonna, so it’s news. Obviously she’s got the money, but it seems weird to me that she’s adopting another child right after she dumped her husband.

    I just wish the celebrities didn’t make adopting an African orphan seem more like buying an ornament than anything else, but perhaps I should give them more credit for doing something good than my cynical side does.

    I think it’s great that Madonna wants to adopt a child but I think she would make a more humanitarian impact if she got her friends to setup a trust fund to keep an orphanage operational for years to come.

    I think Madonna should adopt a child in the U.S. A. Afterall, she wants to bring her brood to live in U.S. We have plenty of infants & toddlers who need and would love a warm household and family.

    I suppose the news wouldn’t be covered by the global press for adopting here. Or what else can it be that pulls her to Africa? Dennis Rodman? 🙂
