    Well clearly, clearly! with a dress like that, the lady in question would need that fur to keep from catching a chill, and overburdening our health care system.

    I say forget about the caption and go rent the movie — Unfaithfully Yours is one of the great Preston Sturges comedies.

    Ok, the joke’s a bit thin, but the ironies are several, and layered. A fur stole is a wrap – a covering. A ‘tarp’ is a covering. The banks and insurance companies ‘stole’ enormous sums and many furnished their very lavish lifestyles. The characters in the film are dressed lavishly and commenting on their ill-gotten gains……………..
