Who is more tolerant of others: Liberals or Conservatives?

    I can only speak for myself.

    For obvious reasons, I have become much less tolerant of right wing stupidity over the past 8 years.

    Actually, that is easy.

    Liberals don’t try to deny equal rights under the law to all people or impose their religious beliefs on people via legislation.

    Many conservatives want to do both. Hence, liberals are far more tolerant than conservatives.

    Why is it that conservatives are always complaining about Government interference but are willing to have Government inforce rules on their religious beliefs.
    Therefore the answer is Liberals

    Liberals. And, if you don’t believe it, we’ll send bus loads of people to march around and scare the beedoobers out of you! Or, maybe we’ll get a bunch of guns. Or, maybe we’ll just ignore any laws that don’t work for us. Or, we could always rig us some elections.

    liberals are intolerant of the intolerant. it is like back n high school i was a Punk. ( i still am, but not like that) i had stop-sign red hair that was spiked up, wore ripped up jeans and a leather jacket with spikes and patches and pins…. anyway, one day i decided the hair dye and gel was too expensive so i let my hair go natural… well, the other punks accused me of being a conformist….. long story short i realized that they were wearing uniforms and real rebellion was looking however you wanted…
    so human interest piece aside…. liberals more likely to be intolerant of “one of their own” who seems to be “straying to the right”

    None of the above, that`s the problem, both sides become so dogmstic that facts are meaningless.
    Example; What do liberals think of the job General Patrius has done in Iraq?
