  1. Anon Zoditate says:

    Vance Phillips.

    Joan Deaver.

    Mike Vincent.

    John Brady.

Mike Protack (for the entertainment value only).

  2. liberalgeek says:

    John Kowalko

    Matt Denn

    Chris Coons

  3. Unstable Isotope says:

    Ezra Temko

    John Kowalko

    Tom(?) Kovach

    Chris Coons

    Matt Denn

  4. Anon Zoditate Stupid Dreaming says:

Speaking of Ezra Temko, did you know he started out as a Republican?

  5. umm says:

Started out? He is 24 (?) years old, I would say he’s “starting out” now and by all measures he is a liberal democrat. His current position is non-partisan. I hope you’re not referring to some changes in ideology he might of gone through as a teenager, that is just silly. Every person goes through their own self discovery growing up.

  6. Political Observer says:

Watch for what? As an up-and-comer or a “don’t play ball with this one” sort of way? But then again some can be in both lists…..

I’ll assume the former to an extent. Separated by current employment or known aspirations.

    County:
    Vance Phillips
    Brad Eaby
    Eric Buckson

    Rep:
    Bryon Short
    Pete Schwartzkopf
    Darryl Scott
    Valerie Longhurst

    Senate:
    Mike Katz
    Bethany Hall-Long

    Statewide office:
    John Carney
    Beau Biden
    Matt Denn

    Other:
    Carl Danberg
    Tommy Cook
    John Brady

    Train-wreck factor:
    Karen Weldin Stewart
    Mike Protack
    Micheal Miller
    Tom Gordon
    Karen Hartley Nagle
    Christine O’Donnell
    Chris Roberts
    Dennis Spivack

I know some of those names seem like long ago and far away, but they’ll pop up. Just wait…. As with all things political, what these folks do depends on circumstances and timing.

  7. Another Mike says:

I think Tyler Nixon could be a political up-and-comer if he wants to be.

  8. I’m going to throw Danny Short in there. They don’t hand a sophomore Rep a Whip position unless they think he has potential.

My thoughts is that he’ll try for Venables’ seat when he decides to retire.
