Rick Jenson….exaggerator in chief

Filed in National by on May 18, 2009

While listening to WDEL Rick said that there were 7 to 800 people at the teabagging event he attended on April 15th. Not sure which event he was at, but the one I saw Rick at he was leading his 2 minutes of hate to round 300 people.

hmmmmmm, wonder what else he exaggerates….

DV…was it 700 to 800, or did he say seven to 800? If the latter, he technically wasn’t lying, ya’ know….

Personally, I surmised from one to 1,000 attendees.

Jensen has been lying about those numbers for weeks. And they have been growing.

There were more people at the Jack Markell victory party on Sept 19 than were at the ‘baggers event.

Geez, false advertising. I thought it was going to be a bunch of queers putting their balls on each others face.

Maybe Jens was combining all the locations.

RJ must have gone to the Rove/Cavuto school of Statistical Analysis. 😀

I walk by that room a couple of mornings a week and we can’t figure out how anyone gets 700 -800 people in there. Somehow I remember someone talking about counting cars, but there was an event at the Chase Center that evening (starting around 6, with folks arriving maybe 5 or so) and I know people who think that the lot closer to Timothy’s is better lit.

I want to know how many participated on Teabagging 2.o — The Conference Call?

  7. I find it hard to believe that Wilmington’s event had more than Philadelphia’s, which was reported to be around 300. Anyone know what the fire marshall limit on the room was?

Probably anywhere from 1 to 1,000,000.

  9. UI,

I’d say it was safe to say they had about 300 folks there. I was there and that room was packed and there were people coming and going.

  10. I can verify there were over 800 attendees at the Wilmington Tea Party.

Full disclosure, the 800 reflects the total who came through the door not the number at any one time.

At one time the number was in the 500-550 range.

    Thanks, Mike Protack

  11. Thanks Mike, they can believe what they want. In 2010, they may not believe the results.

    bwwwwooooohahahaaaaahahahaaaaaaa

So, that 800 includes counting each smoker as they came back in after a smoke. That would explain it.

    300.

  14. perhaps they were counting the signs LG. Many of the people were very green and used both sides of their cardboard.

Look, you have to count every male twice because, supposedly, every male has two teabags. In Rick Jenson’s case, you have to subtract two because he has no balls. Lies, damned lies, and statistics.
