Same-sex marriage legislation has been sweeping the country with New Hampshire as one of the latest to go “queer”. That said, I think the situation has kind of gotten out of hand in the Granite State.
Less than two weeks after legalizing gay marriage in the state, New Hampshire legislators enacted a new law Tuesday making it mandatory for persons over the age of 60 to attend three same-sex weddings every year for the rest of their lives.
WhaaaTTT? How the hell could they enforce such a thing? Would seniors have to carry around some sort of state id that would be punched at a gay wedding? Who would be the puncher? Ministers? Does that mean we are one step away from forcing churches that don’t agree with gay marriage to perform gay marriage?
