There are a bunch of people on the Circle in Georgetown carrying signs like “Its the Constitution Stupid”. Didn’t feel interested enough to ask whether or not they were a Tea Party. There were no couples who appeared gay, and the men were talking a lot about how hot Hispanic chicks from Argentina are. Must have been a GOP bunch.
I had some people say it was a good speech. feedback was minimal during the speech. they liked the misrepresentation talk, didn’t like what I had to say about Dover, and eyes glossed over by the time I went to the healthcare.
They weren’t militia types. I would say it was 90% over the age of 65. I was the youngest one there for some time, until I saw that someone brought their children.
Honestly, if you hold a protest at noon on a weekday, who else do you expect to show?

How did you public speaking debut go? Hope it went well.
I stuck to the script, cut out two paragraphs bashing the state GOP, and was so nervous that my slow spoken 20 minute speech was over in 12 minutes.
I motormouthed through it.
This is a crowd that was offended when I said “hell.”
They basically let WGMD do the advertising for the Georgetown party, and Facebook to do the rest.
