    And it was in that process, every day I was with him — and this is gonna sound strange — he restored my sense of idealism and my faith in the possibilities of what this country could do.

    This is a damned impressive thing to be remembered for.

    Biden made perhaps the most moving tribute I’ve heard today.

    I didn’t shed a tear until I saw Joe Biden’s tribute. It reminded me that Ted Kennedy was a real person, not just a politician.

    “He never was petty. … He was never small … He made everybody he worked with bigger…”

    By far the best tribute today at a microphone. This is a Joe I could get used to: slow, thoughtful, deliberate and sincere. A very eloquent statement.
