    I missed your point on clean coal because there is no such thing. Coal is the primary fuel for generating electricity and is a major pollutant.

    With electric cars there will be more demand for electricity.

    Still, we need to move to renewable and alternative energy at the very least to satisfy new demand when the economy gets moving again.
