Goes to 7 games and the winner is the better pitcher between Cliff Lee and Sabathia…..Phillies

The Phillies’ fan base for this series instantly grew by millions (debatable) last night. Basically, all of “Red Sox Nation”, save a few knuckleheads, just hopped on the bandwagon and anyone else that has a deep hatred for the Yankees, minus Mets fans. Oh, those Mets fans. This is the absolute worst that could ever happen in their baseball world.

Split first two in NY, Phils take 2 of 3 in Philly, then win it in NY, but on the fence about winning it in 6 or 7. Depends on the starting pitcher for game 6. Once the probable starting rotations are announced before Wednesday for the series by each team, I’ll revise.

Agree with Smitty, I like the Phils to win it in NY. I really just want to see what suit Charlie has picked out for this year.

Biggest bonus of Phils-Yanks: the collective groan from Mets fans.

Depends on which cole we see. If we get lights out cole like last year, i say phillies in 5. if not, phillies in 6. we have 2 wins from Cliff Lee, and I think Pedro can win one. so it comes down to one good performance from Cole, Happ, or Blanton.

Forget the Mets fans, the people I really sympathize with are the Indians fans when they look and see the starting pitchers for Wednesday. It’s not like we haven’t had plenty of great players who had to go elsewhere to win, too. So long as they get on them early and don’t count on too many 9th inning comebacks, the Phils can take it in 6.

Oh, I do sympathize with the Indians fans. I point and laugh at Mets fans. I do that especially now after a joker was spotted at a playoff game against the Dodgers with a Mets jacket on, but a LAD hat on his head.
