Late Night Video: Fair Use

Filed in National by on October 27, 2009

One of the great memes on the internet is the parody the movie Downfall. This particular scene takes place in Hitler’s bunker and the parodies range from Hitler finding out the Gallagher brothers from Oasis just broke up, Georgia loses to Florida in college football, banned from xBox live, Twitter going down, etc.

This Downfall parody is about fair use and why something like this is legally possible. Enjoy.

Man, if I could convert our 12-hour time into 24-hour time, I’d be dangerous. Maybe this should be called Mid-Evening Video.

It’s OK — I waited until now to look at it! 😛

This one was very funny — and how humorless can these Downfall people be? It is too bad that these people can’t figure out a way to more creative product instead of more creative lawsuits.

Best one was Hitler finding out that the Cowboys lost to the Giants: “…and I just bought a Terrell Owens jersey, to wear to the Super Bowl, and now they’ll probably trade him and I wasted 70 dollars!”

I really love this one. All of the geek insider jokes crack me up. Stallman, Apple… As Hitler would say, Fantastishe!
