    I think the closings have a lot to due with bus routes. So, while the main roads may be clear, others will not. And, I’m not so old as to not remember the thrill of a snow day. 😉

    Nothing productive could get done in schools anyway – snow on the ground the week of Christmas? Forget about it. Seaford is already off for winter break until 1/4/10! Yay for two week vacations.

    Schools are most likely closed because there are no bus stops for kids.

    Cape Henlopen schools are closed as well.
