FYI: Because I’m Always The Last to Know

We’re “springing” forward tonight, and I’m not ready.  And the fact that I wasn’t aware this is happening tonight is my personal shame.  I plan on mourning this lost hour until temperatures hit the high 60s, then I’ll rejoice.

  1. Yes, it’s happening earlier and it falls back later. All a good thing.

I just wish we could keep the longer days all year. Oh, well. Remember to change the smoke detector batteries throughout the house while you are setting the clocks.

The time change and the state testing program are always at the same time. I’ve never understood the reasoning behind that since the schools take pains to send home flyers weeks in advance telling parents to feed their kids and make sure they get a good night’s sleep.

  6. Did I tell you guys that I actually lost an hour today?
