Pretty Much the Whole Story

Courtesy of the Facebook page Ethical Reporters Against Faux News page — this is pretty much what I see when I hear teabaggers explaining why associating with racists and racist language isn’t racist:

  1. A. Nony Moose says:

I don’t get it — why are members of the Democrat Party’s paramilitary terrorist wing being depicted as members of a patriotic organization seeking to reduce the size of government? Especially since the Democrats have put a member of that organization — who they call the conscience of the Senate (then again, the Democrats should have a guilty conscience) — three heartbeats away from the Oval Office during the administration of America’s first black President.

  2. Brooke says:

Um how is this “the Democratic Party’s paramilitary wing”?

  3. flutecake says:

I believe this is obtuse trolling. Back before the Nixon era, most good ole boys of the South were Democrats. LBJ + Civil Rights movement turned those creeps with sheets into the southern arm of the GOP.

Now all these John Birchers are ‘main stream’ tea-baggies.

These people want to have it both ways.

You had me at obtuse. Which is pretty much the complete description of RWRs contributions here. Interesting that a “social studies” teacher wouldn’t have better access to history, until you remember that he is in Texas.

  5. Tom S says:

Good thing we outvoted Gore’s Dad on the Civil Rights Act!

  6. A. Nony Moose says:

Just remember — it isn’t the GOP that put a Kluxer three heart beats from the presidency.

And since the Tea Party is NOT a racist movement, the above cartoon is illogical and absurd.

  7. Geezer says:

Heh. Pretty thin skin for a moose.
