John Manifold points to this in the Open Thread and I heard it just abit ago in the car. Man, is he ever good. Dismantling Too Big to Fail needs to be a priority. Give a listen — it’s about 5 minutes long:

Is it just me, or does anyone else wish Ted hadn’t promised not to run. This isn’t a slam on Coons I just really like Kaufman.

I think Delawares Democrats would be in a euphoric state if Kaufman were to run but since he will not we need to back Coons 100%. The alternative is the Republican Automiton we call Mike Castle.

  3. Iowa Democrat says:

Not sure what you mean by backing Coons 100%, he has my vote, I’ll put up a yard sign, and slap a bumper sticker on my car, and I’ll do my best to tell people at work, church, and in the neighborhood to vote from Coons. But what I won’t do is give him any money, or volunteer unless he’s able to convince me (not personally) that he is putting 100% of his effort into winning, and his campaign is in the right direction. A good start would be having an actual website that isn’t a pathetic joke!

    Iowa Democrat,

There is a new website in the making and “fingers crossed” it should be live by Monday.

Something else you ought to know. Chris purely loves to campaign. He once told me the best reason to get into politics is meeting wonderful people. He loves to meet, talk, joust sometimes, and wallow in the crowd. I was talking to him on Monday night after a meeting, it was going on 9:00PM, and he was still charged up. By that time at night I am usually yearning for home, but his enthusiasm is infectious. The U.S. Senate is going to get a serious dose of energy if we manage to get him there.

Exactly. You can click here to see my website, which is a pathetic joke. But then, I’m not the party’s picked candidate, with all the fundraising cred.

It’s all very well to say we have to support Chris or we’ll get Mike. But we have to recruit and RUN or we are just wasting our money.
