Meet John Kowalko’s Challenger

Get a load of this boy scout…

His name is Gordon Winegar and he is a Republican, although you’d never know it from his organized labor touting bio. Hey Gordo! I thought you guys hated organized labor? The teachers unions are destroying our once great American society. Didn’t you get the memo?

Anyway, like I said, he is a Republican so as you read on, you see that he is all about the GOP’s empty headed “supply side economics” and magical unicorns descending to bring prosperity if only we could cut taxes for the rich. (So much for his roots in organized labor. Pretty picture though.)

  1. Are they posing in front of an un-mown DELDOT median strip?

  2. Ohh…it’s the BEACH. Lotsa that in the 25th.

I love how he claims to be a ‘Proven Job Creator’ w/o any proof. He DOES write that he “…work(s) with entrepreneurs, businesses and large employers to help them run efficiently, cut costs, and work smarter.”

What that says to me is ‘fewer employees and screwing employees out of benefits’. How does that make him a ‘proven job creator’?

Yet another cookie cutter Rethug pimping out his blue-collar dad to prop up his phony bona fides, if you ask me.

Yes a Delaware beach, you know the ones that have had our tax money used to replace the sand and the dunes in order to protect Mike Castle’s real estate investments.

El Som, I found that pimping just as galling. The minute these Republicans use labor to move one rung up the employment ladder, they kick whoever happens to be right below them while pretending that they are “self made entrepreneurs.” What a fraud.

  4. Yep, his union dad taught him the value of hard work, honesty, and bringing home a paycheck…so he goes and gets a Business Admin. degree and advises companies on how to cut costs and screw workers.

A veritable blue chip off the old block.

    That’s a pathetic website.

Here’s his LinkedIn profile showing he previously worked for several banks: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/gordon-winegar/15/386/3a5

And a blurb from his current employer’s site:

Gordon’s lending experience includes capital placement for conduit lenders, insurance companies, CMBS lenders, as well as, balance sheet lending. As Director of Transaction Services Gordon brings both an extensive knowledge of the senior living industry, as well as, strong transaction and capital placement experience. Gordon earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Delaware.

Sr. living facilities. There is a great example of an industry that would not exist if not for government assistance. …er I mean…the squandering of my tax money.

  7. The point is that he’s not even involved in providing services to seniors–he’s engaged in the real estate shell game from whence these miscreants like Manor Care make their real money.

But, hey, he’s the son of a union electrician.

  8. jason330 says:

Exactly. Taking credit for “creating jobs” …give me a break.
