Tuesday’s Asshats of the Day

Filed in Delaware by on August 24, 2010

Another day, another group award.  It seems as though the Urquhart and O’Donnell camps have a plan for illegals.  Both campaigns decided to show their lily-white faces at a Hispanic festival this past weekend down here.  Good for them – seems they were seeking votes outside of their usual supporters.  But appearances can, and were, deceiving.  A source of mine contacted me after talking to campaign representatives at this event. They thought my source was one of theirs – I guess because they are white – but they weren’t a supporter.

First, it seems that good old Glen wants to microchip illegals, or those he think might be illegal (can we say racial profiling?) so it would be easier to track them down, deport them, and then be able to prevent them from re-entering the country.  When asked if that also meant any children who were born here or even those who came to the US when they were young and think of themselves as Americans, Glen wants them deported, too.  Think about it, you’re 2 years old and your parents cross over to the US to make a better life for themselves.  They get jobs, pay taxes and send you to school.  You know nothing of your homeland and are as American as your friends in the neighborhood.  But since you crossed the border illegally, even though you weren’t old enough to know what was going on, Glen Urquhart wants to tag you and release you back to Mexico, or wherever you came from.  Way to go there, Glen.

But it gets better.  O’Donnell’s reps were asked about her stance on illegal immigrants.  They cited the strain on the health care system as one reason we should deport the estimated 12 million-14 million illegal immigrants already here.  When asked what an illegal immigrant was supposed to do if they needed emergency care, the O’Donnell rep responded that they should be denied treatment.  So according to O’Donnell, if you’re here illegally and you need emergency medical attention, you should just die in the streets.  Whatever happened to being a “compassionate conservative?”

One wants to microchip you and the other wants to deny you medical treatment.  We can only hope that these two win their primaries – it will make for easy pickings come Election Day.  Glen Urquart and Christine O’Donnell – Tuesday’s Asshats of the Day.

On another note, don’t get me started on Delusional David and the asshats over at Delaware Politics.  How can one honestly defend someone putting up a comment about getting 5 guys in a pickup truck to go around shooting illegals?  Seriously, David, don’t you remember that that is exactly what happened to countless African-Americans in the South as shortly as 12 years ago (remember James Byrd)?  Your “it’s freedom of speech” excuse is bullshit, David, pure, unadulterated bullshit!

Does either camp even have a Latino in their campaigns?? seeing as 7.4% of the voters in Delaware are naturalized citizens it would not be wise to annoy them.

on top of that there are about 68k Latinos from various places living in delaware and a large portion of them are Puerto RICANS – YOU KNOW CITIZENS….THAT VOTE!!

the O’Donnell folks as the Hispanic festival where all grossly overweight and dumpy looking – walking versions of the Pillsbury doughboy – and not a one spoke Spanish – what was even funnier – is that as they put campaign stickers on the small children – they want deported or dying in the streets – the parents were told what Ms. O’Donnell’s stance on immigration was and the parents promptly removed the stickers from the children, then told their friends and family what the deal was. Those tales are already in wilmington.

Imagine – stating openly that immigrants(undocumented/illegal) should not receive medical care – regardless of status and the innocent children should be deported – then leaning over to place a campaign sticker on those very children – and she represents conservative values????

I remember Mike Protack doing the same thing a couple of years ago at a latino function – trying to take a small child from the Latino mother to do the pic with the baby thing – the child had his number and screamed bloody murder – Protack didn’t know what to do – mom wanted the child back.

I suppose the big question is – WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOODNESS WERE THEY EVEN DOING THERE?? If she could have garnered support – her people sure blew it for her

    ASSHAT!!

    I forgot – I found this on WGOP’s website:

.Michelle Rollins and the Mark of the Beast

Did anyone catch this in the reports about the Congressional forum? Michelle Rollins insists the “little people” need to be tagged. She told the crowd she supports national identity cards. The mark of the beast?

Is curley looking for 666 on Ms Rollins’ ass??

  3. xstryker says:

Holy crap, for a minute I thought you meant Michelle Bachmann. Tagging? My people were tagged once, you know. I hope I don’t need to complete that statement.

Revisiting an old Asshat … WGMD has apparently begun blocking comments on all website posts by Bill Colley. Guess they’re afraid of people charging in with the facts on the intertubes, and you’re only now allowed to call in on his show where he can hang up on you.

    What a bunch of cowards.

  5. Aoine says:

AND THEY BELIEVE IN THE 1ST AMMENDMENT?? THEY ARE ALL ABOUT THE CONSTITUTION AND THE BILL OF RIGHTS – AND THEY CALL THEMSELVES PATRIOTS??

OH I SEE – YOU CAN ONLY SAY WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO SAY OR THEY SHUT YOU OUT..

WAIT – ISN’T THERE A TEABAG (GOP) NOMINEE DOING THE SAME THING IN NEVADA – SHARRON ANGLE
YOU CAN ONLY ASK HER QUESTIONS SHE WANTS TO ANSWER AND RAND PAUL IS DOING THE SAME THING…

WHOOPS – SORRY FOR THE CAPS – I AM SOTTO VOCE

“WGMD has apparently begun blocking comments on all website posts by Bill Colley…”

Deja Vu, all over again. The cowards never could handle facts Their inability to take criticism for their bullshittery took down their original (heavily moderated) message board. I’m surprised the wimps have lasted this long without blocking.

‘Bags dont REALLY beleive in the First Amendment… or any of the constitution for that matter.
They like it as long as it allows them to say the N word…. NO i’m not “race-baiting”, i am referencing ACTUAL EVENTS involving St Sarah.

they LOVE their freedom of religion…. so much that they use it to impress their beliefs upon others. however, if Muslims also want freedom, they have to consider the feelings of people in the middle of the country who had NO direct ties to 9/11 and who spend most of the time claiming NYC isn’t “real” America.

The worst part is, most of the time they fight against their own self interests. They fight against health care for themselves and their kids. They fight FOR corporations rigts to abuse workers and poison toys… all under the banner of St Sarah, the False Profit Beck and the all knowing, Fixed News… which is partially owned by someone who, if they saw on the street, they would start yelling “NO MOSQUE” at.

    poor ignorant fools.

“WGMD has apparently begun blocking comments on all website posts by Bill Colley…”

where is the First Amendment Crusader, St. Sarah on this one?

  9. Geezer says:

    a. price: The feelings of any people anywhere don’t have to be considered. You make it sound as if people in New York or lower Manhattan should have a say in this. They don’t. If it’s insensitive on the part of the Muslims who want to build there, oh well. Insensitivity is still legal last I checked. So is vocal opposition.

  10. Miscreant says:

As spineless and contemptible as it is (WGMD), censorship of a privately owned and operated blog or message board isn’t a 1st Amendment issue.

  11. a. price says:

geezer, we are in agreement. I may have phrased my snarky description of the Teabag thought process poorly.
People who lost loved ones in 9/11 AND have been (falsely) made To beleive (by Fixed) than all of islam conspired to kill their family member, have every right to not like the idea of a muslim YMCA/JCC being built on the site of an American icon (Burlington Coat Factory)
I would hope that these heros, as we are supposed to refer to them, would be open minded enough to understand freedom means sometimes things you dont like are going to happen.

  12. Aoine says:

343 of those heros were my collegues that I worked with – several friends and one in particular, a mentor.
being from Irish Catholic immigrant stock he understood hatred and discrimination
and altho his body was one of the ones never recovered – as is part of the lingering dust there – he valued the freedoms and rights of this nation
the rights and freedoms given to us all – he never asked a victim their gender, religion or race – he served all equally and to have others object to what he died protecting is a disgrace to his memory

    and THAT angers me greatly
