Thank You Delaware Wingnuts!!

Filed in National by on September 22, 2010

I just saw this crawl across the screen on CNN:

“Is Christine O’Donnell hurting other GOP candidates?”

That is not an exact quote, and the volume was down (I was in a bar…natch), but I can only imagine that it was related to a story about O’Donnell sucking so much that she is hurting other teabaggers currently running for office.

  1. Like I said – it’s karma. The GOP had a choice, take a stand or cave in to the wingnuts. They chose to cave and now Christine O’Donnell is the voice of the Tea Party. No one is fooled by this Tea Party is non-partisan B.S. Tea Party = Republican and Tea Party = Christine O’Donnell therefore Christine O’Donnell = GOP

  2. jason330 says:

It will be hard for them to rationalize an O’Donell loss with the usual wingnut explanation that the candidate “was not conservative enough.”

The bench is deep in crazy though.

  4. anonone says:

That was quick, jason. Hopefully you’re adding some bitter vitriol to it before you re-post.

  5. jason330 says:

I’m not sure it rises to the level of an actual post worthy story. Plus, I don’t want it to be true unless it hurts O’Donnell on election day.

  6. anonone says:

If he doesn’t run as a write-in, my bet is that he’ll end up endorsing Christine.

  7. jason330 says:

I doubt that. In fact, I have no reason to think this, but I want to believe that the possibility of throwing the election to Christine would keep him from mounting a write in campaign.

  8. anonone says:

Well, you’re the one who said that they all fall in-line eventually, which seems about right. BTW, were you the one who posted that the repubs vote for Christine to say “you’re not the boss of me?”

  9. Boxwood says:

The good news is that if/when O’Donnell loses a signifigant portion of the right wing is going to blame another signifigant portion of the right wing and vice versa. ;^)

  10. jason330 says:

    a1., True and true.

    Boxwood, Everyday is Christmas day.

  11. anonone says:

Well, I think that Christine saw your post because here is what she said at the Voters Value Summit last Saturday:

“The ruling class elites may try but they will never have the last word on liberty,” O’Donnell said. “There’s something about our national DNA that insists on shouting at those who would be our masters, ‘You’re not the boss of me!'”

On some days you’re a freakin’ genius. Or maybe you really are an undercover GOP double-agent.

    Watch for O’Donnell sightings
    (sorry had to say it)

  14. MJ says:

Christmas and Chanukah coming early (I hope).

  15. jason330 says:

Of course the irony of tbagz saying “You’re not the boss of me!’” is that Hannity, Beck and Palin are the bosses of them.

Aoine – I like Biden’s use of Tea Party Republicans there. More like that please.

MJ, – Yes. Chocolate coins in gold foil all around.

  16. Aoine says:

Jason – personally I thought it was genius!! LOVED IT

  17. Another Mike says:

O’Donnell obviously has yelled “you’re not the boss of me” several times in the past few years since she has had no apparent employment.

And can she stop referring to Governor Palin? The woman is no longer governor and was barely governor when she held the office.

  18. Anyone think Palin wants the stink of O’Donnell on her when she loses? I’ll bet Palin doesn’t come, plus Palin won’t want to compete with another woman in the looks department.

  19. yeoman says:

ugh. Can we just bemoan for a second that “you’re not tha boss of me” used to be a saying that we used as the exemplar of a childish temper tantrum? Now it’s a legitimate political slogan reflective of our most treasured values. Great.
