Monday’s Asshat of the Day

Filed in Delaware by on October 18, 2010

We’ve been entertained over the last month by our local witch/not a witch, Christine O’Donnell. Not only does she employ thugs similar to Joe Miller in Alaska, but she lies about not running negative ads. Chrissie-pooh, wasn’t that you at the end of the “taxman” ad saying you approved the message, and then blinking with both eyes trying to cast a spell on everyone? NOTE: if you drink 12 ounces of water right away after watching that commercial, the spell will be broken.

She’s whining that the national GOP is ignoring her and won’t give her any money. My question is, what are you doing with the $2.6 million you had on hand as of September 30? Buying a home in the Cayman Islands?

Now she sends out an email claiming to be gaining in the polls.

Our message of smaller government, lower taxes and reducing the deficit is resonating! A poll released by Rasmussen Reports last Thursday has our campaign gaining 10 points on our opponent Chris Coons. Only a day later, a TCJ Research poll stated that we gained an additional 2 points!

We will beat Obama’s rubberstamp, Chris Coons, on Election Day and he knows it. Show them we mean business by giving your most generous contribution on $100, $75, $50 or even $35 TODAY!

Barack Obama, Joe Biden and the rest of the Democrats are running scared. This past Friday, Barack Obama and Joe Biden were in Delaware for a $1,000 plate luncheon raising liberal big bucks for our opponent.

This is the only time this year that both Obama and Biden have appeared together for a campaign event. They are in panic mode because they know that we will stop their raid on taxpayer dollars.

On Friday, Barack Obama said this to liberal activists about our campaign:

“I don’t want anybody here taking this for granted.”

Obama is concerned because independent polling shows this race tightening. And Obama and his cronies are running scared.

Does Washington really need another career politician rubber-stamping the radical agenda which has put our country on the wrong track? We have an opportunity to send a message to Washington — to stop the tax hikes, the bailouts, the slush funds, and cronyism by returning power to We the People.

Our campaign is peaking at exactly the right time, we’re gaining in the polls and now is the time to act! Donate $100, $75, $50 or $35 to keep this momentum going!

We are gaining in the polls, out-pacing our opponent in fundraising and overpowering his phony grassroots operation with a real groundswell of support.

For the Cause,

Team Christine

Chrissie-pooh’s error, much like Angel Clark’s over at batshitcrazypolitics.net, is that she compared the Rasmussen poll to the University of Delaware poll. And if either of them understood how to read a poll, they would have caught their mistake.

It is my sincer belief that our asshat today, Christine O’Donnell, is just in this for the money. Money that little old ladies in Podunk, TX, got snookered into sending to her. Shame on you, Christine, shame on you.

  1. Miscreant says:

“Not only does she employ thugs similar to Joe Miller in Alaska,…”

I missed that part. Must have been the spell.

  2. Bandit says:

She and her followers are just plain stupid. Chris’s lead actually grew when you read them correctly!

  3. jason330 says:

She and her handlers are not stupid. They know exactly what they are doing.

  4. Torgue says:

The polls shows that she has closed the percentage gap to 6%. When she beat Castle in the primary, she was trailing by 4 points and won by 6%, which make the Rasmussen polls 10% off.
I wouldn’t believe anything the polls say.

  5. Show us a poll where the gap is 6%. On pollster.com the polls released in October show the gap as 16, 18, 19, 19, 21 & 11. The pollster.com average is Coons 54.3%, O’Donnell 37.3%. The last poll is about 2 weeks old but some people report getting calls from Fairleigh Dickinson this weekend so I assume we’ll have a new poll from them soon.

Of course the whisper campaign about polls showing she has closed the gap is starting with zero evidence. Her campaign has to do this before the last wave of legit polls come out to keep the donations flowing. The well is going to dry up quickly as soon as the first new poll shows little to no change. And a point of correction, the last primary poll showed COD with a 3% lead over Castle the weekend before the election(PPP 9/11-9/12) Her ceiling has and will continue to be just about 40% through Nov. 2, as most minds are already made up.
