We all know that bombs are free. In the age of teabaggery, we also know that EVERYTHING other than military action is prohibitively expensive.

Taking these items as givens, I humbly present state and local governments with budget bill words and phrases that can pass under teabagger radar.

Ambush – genral operating expense.
Barrage – fund the offices of city clerk
Blockade – insurance premiums
Bomb – Library & school funding
Bridgehead – funding for tax collection
Counterattack – Court system and police
Counter battery fire- Public works
Extraction point – fleet maintannce
Flank – Public Buildings & Grounds
Melee – Property Improvements
CENTCOM – Code enforcment
Reconnaissance – Sewer Utilities
Shoot and scoot – Social services
Siege – Health Insurance
Special Ops – Snow removal
“Liberty Storm” – Street sweeping
“Freedom Storm” – signage
Sortie – building cleaning and maintenance services
Skirmish – Information Technology improvements
